Introduction

Italian London-based.Enthusiastic.

Inspired by people and their stories and curious by nature, my mission is to create meaningful human reality through the power of design, working at the connections between people, objects, services and environments to generate a positive mental and environmental impact.

Experience

6 years of experience.40+ projects shipped.1 startup project.

I’m a multidisciplinary end-to-end designer looking for challenging problems to solve and the design strategist of Well-Fare, a service startup inspired by welfare and sustainability values aimed at protecting the fragiles and our territories.

Before diving into service and UX design, I spent over 5 years working at the intersection of brand & product as an industrial designer on tangible products focused on product development, production management and brand environmental design.

Skills

Proactive attitude.Detail-oriented.Collaborative worker.

I’m always trying to grow and learn something new by collaborating and sharing my knowledge. I strive in achieving a positive impact with any company or on any product I am working on, combining my keen eye for details and a holistic approach, and bringing to my work all the skills I gained during my first-hand design industry experience.

Design approach

Collect insights from wherever I can, even from places one might not think to look.

Keep the user in mind all the time.

Talk to developers, suppliers, users and all the stakeholders and bring them into the project as often and as much as possible.

I think it is important to understand and empathize not only with your users but also with your team. I strongly support the collaborative culture to transform the opportunities discovered into evocative experience design that resonates with people’s reality.

Design process

Different projectsSame process.

These processes are rarely ever linear & steps tend to be iterated multiple times before delivery. Some will need all of the steps and others might have some of them already well defined. The nitty-gritty method choice tends to differ but I still follow a general process for every project.

Understand

Define. Define the general business needs, and make hypotheses for what I expect the problem might be.

Discover. Conduct research to a better understanding of the user and explore the problem space.

Analyse. Interpret the findings and define the users, their needs and pain points. Set or re-define the problem statements.

Design

Ideate. Ideate and explore different options, highlighting opportunities for innovation.

Prototype. Make the best ideas tangible, then narrow these down to the most appropriate solution(s) for the problem.

Validate. Test concepts with potential users and iterate the explore phase based on feedback.

Deliver

Implement. Create the documentation of the final solution to make it buildable from developers.

Build. Support the developers to solve unexpected problems.

Test. Gather feedbacks to reveal insights that redefine the problem.
